The 'rawcirc' file is useful for looking more closely at individual titles that circulated frequently but does not list items that didn't circulate. Use the 'summary' file for circulation-density reports and a more top-level look at circulation trends.

This is an example of some final presentable data that you can get with a bit of Excel pivot table work using the report that the above Python file generates.

It highlights interesting data, for example: NA has by far the highest share of circ activity, and the largest collection of books. However: though G has a small share of circulation, the density of circulation within that smaller collection is very high (particularly in GF, GT, and GV). This suggests that G is low priority for weeding and high priority for additional materials.
