Lost & Found: Lost & Found

Lost & Found - Burbank

The Woodbury University Library Lost & Found is located at the Circulation Desk. You can reach the Circulation desk by phone at (818) 252-5200.

Found Items

Items found in the Library are taken to the Circulation Desk, where they are tagged with the current date and location where found. If an item has any identifying information (student IDs, books or notebooks with names written in them, wallets, purses, etc.), the library staff will attempt to contact the owner via phone. Found items are kept for approximately one week. After this time, if the materials have not been claimed, they are sent to the main university Lost & Found which is located at the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) in the Whitten Student Center.

Lost Items

If you wish to report an item lost, you can do so by visiting the Circulation Desk in the Library, or by calling (818) 252-5200. Please include a specific description of what was lost, along with your name, phone number, and/or email address.

If items matching the description are found or turned in, the owner will be notified via phone or email.

Presumed Stolen

If you believe you have had items stolen from you in the library, report it to the university’s Security personnel at the guard shack near the street entrance or call 818-252- 5250.
