Woodbury University is located approximately 2 miles from the Burbank Bob Hope Airport. LAX is approximately 35 miles away. The conference hotel WILL provide transportation to and from the Burbank Airport but NOT from LAX. If at all possible, please plan on flying into the Burbank Airport as it will save you much time and frustration.
Hotel lodging will be available at a special conference rate of $119 a night at the Hampton Inn. The hotel is located across the street from campus. The hotel will provide transportation to and from the Burbank Airport. The following information comes directly from them:
"Our Hotel Shuttle runs to and from the Burbank Airport From 5:30am -10:30pm. Please head over to the "Hotel shuttle" pick-up area outside the terminal. Proceed to call the Hotel to notify the front desk that you are waiting by the pick-up area. Please note: The Hampton Inn & Suites airport shuttle hotel cannot wait more than 3 minutes in the pick-up area, per Burbank Airport operations."

Keep in mind that this hotel is NOT within walking distance of campus. It is located near a bus line - about a 15 minute ride from Woodbury. If driving, it is about a 10 minute drive from Woodbury. It is located in downtown Burbank, and surrounded by more shopping and restaurants than the Hampton Inn.
Conference attendees will also have the option of staying on the campus of Woodbury University in dorms. Both single and double rooms are available. We have 18 singles and 31 double rooms. Prices will be $60 per night for singles and $80 per night for doubles ($40 for each person). The dorms will be available from Tuesday, June 5 through Saturday night, June 9 - for those who'd like to stay on after the conference.
The available dorm is air-conditioned with communal bathrooms and kitchens (one on each hall). Double rooms have bunk beds, but they can be un-bunked. The dorm is three stories high and does NOT have elevators. Linens are included. There are a limited number of ADA-accessible rooms for those who are interested.
