We are happy to inform you that we do not charge overdue fines. But of course borrowers are still responsible for returning library materials on time and in good condition. As a courtesy, the library will attempt to send at least 3 notices to remind you of materials that are overdue. Overdue notices will be sent via email after the due date. Paper notices will be sent to those who do not have current email addresses in our system. You may renew items online after logging into your library account.
Borrowers who have long overdue items will be billed for 1) the cost of buying a new copy, and 2) a $50.00 processing fee. The library will send three overdue notices before this occurs as a courtesy.
If the item is found and returned within one year, and before a replacement has been ordered, the item’s replacement cost will be refunded. The processing fee is not refundable.
Please speak with a Circulation Supervisor if you have any questions!
