2018 West Coast WMS Users Group Meeting

The Basics

The 2018 West Coast WMS Users Group Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 16 - Thursday, May 17 at Woodbury University in Burbank, CA. The Woodbury University Library is excited to be your host this year, and we look forward to introducing you to our main campus. This event is open to all libraries using, or preparing to use, OCLC WorldShare Management Services (WMS). The meeting will include updates from OCLC, user presentations, and breakout sessions. While webinars and online documentation are invaluable resources, there's no substitute for talking with-and learning from-your colleagues in person who face many of the same day-to-day issues and share many of the same aspirations as you. Come join us!

About Woodbury

Founded in 1884, Woodbury University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education on the west coast. Woodbury started as a business school in what is now the "historic core" of Los Angeles, then from 1937-1986 existed on Wilshire Blvd as Woodbury College, and in 1986 moved to its present Burbank campus (formerly the site of Villa Cabrini Academy). Woodbury also has a small satellite campus in San Diego in the Barrio Logan district. Woodbury specializes mainly in art & design disciplines like architecture and animation, in business, and also select programs in the liberal arts.
