Important Note for Spring 2021: Woodbury University is not endorsing in-person WISE activities at this time due to COVID-19 risks and therefore cannot provide WISE scholarships for in-person experiences without a signed waiver that the organization with which a student is working is adhering to LA County COVID-10 health and safety protocols.
If engaged in an in-person activity or experience, students must complete the “Internship / Work Experience Employer Acknowledgement and Acceptance of County COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols” form and submit it to the Career Services Coordinator, Internship/Work Experience Coordinator, School Outreach Director, or the Chair or Coordinator of program before participating in WISE.
WISE is made up of four components which provide opportunities for undergraduate students to engage in high impact practices and earn up to two $1,000 tuition scholarships. These experiences lead to highly impactful learning and help with tuition costs! The four components are:
To be eligible for the WISE Tuition Scholarship a student must:
Time spent in virtual civic engagement and/or internship or work experiences must be 20 hours total or more to be eligible for WISE.
