Your Woodbury University ID serves as your library card. To borrow items from the Woodbury University Library, present the item(s) and your library card at the Circulation Desk. In order to protect you and our materials, no other form of ID will be accepted.

Borrowers are responsible for returning library materials on time and in good condition. As a courtesy, the library will attempt to send at least 3 notices to remind you of materials that are overdue. Overdue notices will be sent via email after the due date. Paper notices will be sent to those who do not have current email addresses in our system.
Overdue fines are assessed for materials that are returned after the due date. The amount of the fine is calculated when material is returned.
|Overdue Item||Fine Amount|
|Most items||25¢ per day, $10 max per item|
|Course Reserves||25¢ per hour, $25 max per item|
|Interlibrary Loan||$1.00 per day, $25 max per item|
$1.00 per day, $25 max per item
Borrowers who have long overdue items will be billed for 1) the cost of buying a new copy, 2) a $50.00 processing fee, and 3) the overdue fines that may have accrued. The library will send three overdue notices before this occurs as a courtesy.
If the item is found and returned within one year, and before a replacement has been ordered, the item’s replacement cost will be refunded. The processing fee and overdue fines are not refundable.
Please speak with a Circulation Supervisor if you feel that a fine has been unjustly assessed.
