Proposal Forms and New Deadlines

All Departments can make the following curricular changes any year (by the deadline):

Incidental Change Proposal (INC): New Deadline is: December 1st.
Topics Course Notification: Topics courses must be submitted to the Registrar before scheduling – and at the very latest, three weeks before the class begins.

Only these departments or degree programs can make the curricular changes listed below during this academic year (by the deadline):
SoA
: MArch, MSArch, MLA, Interior Arch BFA+MIA
MCD: Filmmaking, Psychology, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Game Art & Design, Communication
CLA: Pub Safety Admin, Writing and Professional Writing
SoB: BBA & MBA

Modifying Change Proposal (MOD): New Deadline is: October 1st.
Strategic Change Proposal : No change to deadline:  October 1st.
Policy or Structure Change Proposal: New Deadline: October 1st.

MOD = Modifying change
SUB = Substantive change
INC = Incidental change
PRO = Program review

  • All corresponding syllabi (a total of 18) were added to their proposals. One corresponding syllabus, ECON 204, is not included. Not one example of ECON 204 syllabus is to be found in WU syllabi library going back to 2013, although the course was offered four times. Syllabi for MGMT 1700 and 3713 will be submitted shortly.
  • Current Management worksheet is added.
  • Proposed New Management worksheet is added.
  • Updated Management Curriculum map is added.
  • Please note: although some of the proposals in this libguide may mention seeking approval for adding optional online and/or hybrid modalities, we are not actually pursuing these additions at this time. Please disregard all mentions of "hybrid" and "online" anywhere in this libguide. Thank you for your understanding .
