One possible way to set up your portfolio for rank advancement

The text of your cover letter would go here.  It doesn't need to be long.

[the following items would link to pages/tabs on this site, or you could put an inventory list elsewhere]

Curriculum Vitae

Requirement per the faculty handbook:

An updated copy of the candidate’s curriculum vitae.

The c.v. is different from a resumé.  The c.v. has an academic focus, is longer and more detailed.  "A Curriculum Vitae includes a summary of your educational and academic backgrounds as well as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details."  Often it lists service as well, and that certainly makes it easier for the personnel committee to evaluate what you've done in a particular time period.

The c.v. generally follows this format:

   Name and Address
   Education
   Fellowships and Awards
   Teaching Experience
   Research Experience
   Publications and Presentations
   Creative Works
   Works in Progress
   Related Professional Experience
   Professional Affiliations

Please attach your c.v. here as a document (PDF)
