COMM 120: Public Speaking: Finding Books

A Research Guide for Norma Jones' COMM 120 course (Fall 2021)

How do I find books in the Library?

You can find print books and eBooks in the Library using the online Catalog. The Catalog is part of a larger network of catalogs called WorldCat, which includes libraries from around the world. You can restrict your search to just those books in our Library or just on our campus. You can also access eBooks through the Catalog.

Items may be located in one of 7 different areas in the Library; here is a link to the Map of the Library, which can help you find items more easily.

When searching the library catalog, be sure to make note of the call number and the location (stacks, oversize, reference, etc.) so that you can find your items on the shelf.
