About the Friends of the Library:

The Woodbury University Friends of the Library (WUFL) is a voluntary, non-profit organization working in cooperation with the Woodbury University Library. Any person, business, or organization interested in the purposes of the Friends may become a member by payment of the annual membership dues.

The purpose of the Woodbury University Friends of the Library is to recruit friends of the library, promote activities that advance the Library's role as the center of an educational enterprise, and to secure financial support for instruction, research, and access to information.

The activities of the Friends include sponsorship of special projects, informing the public of the resources and services of the library, funding services and materials that are beyond the command of the ordinary library budget, and performing other services deemed useful to the Library

Sponsored Awards

The Woodbury University Friends of the Library sponsors two annual awards:The Ray Bradbury Creativity Award, and the Julius Shulman Communication Award.  Award ceremony events are held in the fall and in the spring.
